Breathing correctly is important in every Tai Chi movement. Incorporating the Qi Gong breathing method cultivates the body’s internal energy, promoting clarity and relaxation. Tai Chi reduces stress and helps people to relax and feel better. Tai Chi is a powerful mind-body exercise. Integrating the mind and body is the ultimate aim of Tai Chi. When the mind and body are in balance, there is inner and outer harmony, enhancing the qi (internal energy) to flow freely and powerfully throughout the body. A person living in harmony is more likely to be happy and healthy.
